APT 10: Kids Outdoors
Brisbane City
Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery brings QAGOMA’s APT10 Kids: Outdoors exhibition to life across 11 city locations until 25 April.
A selection of world-class artworks have been taken from the walls of QAGOMA and onto some of Brisbane's most well-loved inner city locations.
Council’s Outdoor Gallery transforms Brisbane’s laneways and city streets into imaginative, curious and engaging spaces, displaying artworks on light boxes, banners, vitrines and evening projections.
The engaging artworks have been designed in collaboration with APT10 exhibiting artists Gordon Hookey (Australia), Phuong Ngo (Australia), Vipoo Srivilasa (Thailand/Australia), Shannon Novak (Aotearoa New Zealand), Gidree Bawlee (Bangladesh), Syagini Ratna Wulan (Indonesia), and Jamilah Haji (Thailand).
Several of this year’s APT10 Kids: Outdoors pieces have also been created by or with children. Look out for these creations in light box displays in King George Square Car Park, Eagle Lane, and Hutton Lane as well as flower templates with drawings and messages in two vitrine displays by Vipoo Srivilasa on Edward Street.
