Spiders - The Exhibition
Queensland Museum
QUEENSLAND MUSEUM HAS CLOSED TEMPORARILY DUE TO GOVERNMENT COVID-19 REGULATIONS.
Australia’s most amazing arachnids have made Queensland Museum their home with Spiders – The Exhibition taking over from December 6 to May 4.
Visitors to this fascinating exhibition will have a chance to (safely!) come face-to-face with 12 live spider species including all the big names like Redback, Sydney Funnel Web, Trapdoor, Huntsman and Tarantula.
While here, challenge a colourful peacock spider to a dance-off and ‘hold’ a virtual wolf spider in your hand. There’s also the opportunity to peek into the insides of a spider using 3D scanning technology, and step into the web of a net-casting spider for the perfect photo op.
Backed up by leading research from Queensland Museum scientists, this creepy crawly exhibition is not to be missed!
Need to know – Interactive activities are suitable for all ages and tickets are on sale now.
