Kitchen Door
Brisbane
Kitchen Door at Embassy Lane has closed permanently.
Tucked away down a laneway, beneath The Embassy Bar, the Kitchen Door is a cool cafe where kitchen doors double as tables, beer kegs serve as stools and primates pull pints (well, in quirky artwork anyway).
Underneath the twinkling fairy lights, excellent Toby’s Estate coffee is served alongside breakfast (til 10ish) including Sonoma spelt maple muesli served with vanilla yoghurt and strawberries, breaky wraps with two eggs, two rashers of bacon, provolone, homemade barbecue sauce and caramelised onions and Tasmanian smoked salmon, capers, avocado, citrus cream, red onion and dill served on rye bread.
A selection of gourmet sandwiches is available for lunch such as sopresso, seeded mustard and provolone on pane, pastrami, sauerkraut and dijon mustard on rye, or smoked wagyu, spinach, pickles and provolone on pumpkin vienna.
For those who’d prefer a cold drink, the Kitchen Door carries a range of Australian owned and made organic sodas.
