The Cloakroom Bar brings speakeasy vibes to the centre of Brisbane, with a secretive location and bespoke cocktails that are designed to suit your taste buds.
The walk to The Cloakroom Bar is intriguing in itself, with the entrance hidden down laneway, Cloakroom Lane. Down this industrial style laneway, you will find a dapper gentleman who will show you up the staircase to the bar’s entrance. The bar has two small lounge rooms, ideal for small group gatherings or an intimate drink. Alternatively, the outdoor terrace is a picturesque location for a tipple or two.
You will find no menu inside The Cloakroom Bar, instead you will be greeted by the bartender with a palette cleanser (this beverage changes daily) and a discussion about what flavours you like and what mood you’re in. The bartender then creates a personalised cocktail, made just for you.
The Cloakroom Bar has thought of every detail; the ice for each drink is chipped from a large purified ice block by the bar men.
With the bar being an extension from The Cloakroom menswear store, each cocktail is served on a suit swatch.
The bar has a menu of dry bar snacks that complement your personalised beverage.
