NEIGHBOURHOOD PIZZERIA & BAR IN KENMORE HAS CLOSED.

Neighbourhood pizzeria and bar in Kenmore is a hip, urban hangout serving fresh, gourmet pizzas and Australian beverages.

Owner, Jordan wanted to create a bespoke eatery where locals could hang out, grab themselves a decent pizza and a beverage. Fitting into the suburban locale, the restaurant is family friendly and even pet friendly.

The luxe interior includes booth seating along the walls of the restaurant, with large and small tables available for different sized groups. There is also outdoor seating which is ideal for those with furry friends. 

Décor is urban chic, with features such as a record player and a collection of records that are played throughout the restaurant. The open bar and kitchen allows diners to watch their food and drinks being prepared.   

Neighbourhood's menu is minimalist, with five pizzas to choose from; Margherita, Sopressa, Eggplant Parmigiana, Hawaiian and Prosciutto. Garlic bread, fries and/ or salad can also be ordered as side dishes.

The Sopressa is a house favourite -  a pizza laden with Sopressa olives, red peppers and topped with mozzarella cheese.

The drinks menu is large, with a range of Australian wine and beers on offer, including the Neighbourhood Pale Ale which was brewed locally. Spirits and cocktails are also on the menu, with the Neighbourhood Spritz* another favourite. There is also a range of non-alcoholic beverages available.

Need to know – Parking is available in the small carpark and nearby streets.

Nice to know – There are $5 pot specials on every evening.

*Neighbourhood Spritz is an Australian take on Aperol Spritz, instead using Ocra which is a spirit made on Australian native botanicals.
