Maniax is Brisbane's second axe-throwing joint to open, this time in the inner city warehouse neighbourhood of Newstead.

Here's the perfect place for those over 18 years of age to let off steam, either solo or in a small group or, for something completely different, as a fun date night option.

Closed in shoes are essential and training is provided for all on site at the start of the session.

The various sessions, which are 2-2.5 hours long, run at different times, with date nights on every 2nd Friday night, solo or small groups on the last Saturday of each month and league competitions are from Monday to Wednesday nights.

Group bookings for 8+ are also available. Soft drinks, water and a small selection of snacks are available to purchase and punters can also bring their own. (No alcohol allowed).

Nice to know - Maniax was Australia's very first axe-throwing outfit, with established venues in Sydney and Melbourne.

Need to know - Maniax opens to the public on Saturday Nov 10th. Bookings for all sessions are essential - no walk-ins.
