Sandgate

Building Block Studio in Sandgate is a learning activity centre where kids of all ages can build Lego, electronics, robotics and more.

Conveniently located a short stroll from the Sandgate train station, this family owned and operated studio aims to inspire the next generation of Australian innovators. Indeed during school holidays there are excellent workshops for students where they can learn coding, robotics & how to make their own computer game as well as 3D Design, Arduino, LittleBits/Makey Makey, Mobile Apps Coding, Minecraft and LEGO Build.

Ideal for ages 6+, the littlest Lego enthusiasts can build Lego sets and play (gently) with the fantastic Lego displays including a monorail train track,  amusement rides, construction site and city with cinema, cafe, fire station and more.

Older children can experiment with electronics using littleBits, easy to use electronic building blocks for creating inventions big and small. They can learn the fundamentals of robotics, the basics of coding with Scratch and discover 3D printing.
