Mabel Park

Slacks Creek

Loaded with innovative play and fitness equipment plus an abundance of open space, Mabel Park at Slacks Creek is the ultimate destination for active individuals – and even dogs – of all ages.

Mabel Park Slacks Creek

Set well back from the road in the middle of a spacious grassy field, this Slacks Creek park is home to a multi-purpose fitness area known as the adiZone. Bearing the branding of fitness giant Adidas, the unique area features a stack of equipment designed to get people moving.

Highlights include an outdoor gym, a 25-metre running track (with two lanes so you can race a friend), a climbing wall, a shared court for basketball, soccer and tennis, and even an open-floor space, perfect for dance, gymnastics or martial arts.

There's also a large sand-based playground area suitable for children of all ages. Here you'll find the standard playground fare of swings, fort, see-saw bouncer and climbing web, as well as another rock-climbing wall, chin-up bars and a flying fox designed to test users’ upper body strength. Bike paths, a large grassy playing area, basketball and volleyball courts, plus an off-leash dog area round out the facilities.

Nice to know - Mabel Park has wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities plus three separate covered picnic areas and an electric BBQ.

Need to know - Off-road parking is available, however the car park may fill up in extremely busy times.
