Logan Gardens

Logan Central

Spread over several hectares of landscaped parklands in Logan Central, Logan Gardens is a green oasis in the midst of an otherwise bustling region.

Beautiful big gum trees offer plenty of shade for those wanting to lay out a picnic rug and settle in for the day. There’s also a number of covered picnic tables and electric barbecues.

The concrete path snaking its way around the grounds provides a safe haven for cycling or a leisurely walk. For jogging enthusiasts, distance markers are painted on the path so there’s no losing track of how much territory you’ve covered.

Other highlights include an off-leash dog area with fantastic agility obstacles, covered outdoor fitness equipment, a basketball court, plus plenty of open green spaces to kick a ball or burn off any excess energy. For something different, it’s worth trying your hand at the on-site disc golf and bocce.

Children of all ages and abilities will enjoy the huge, colourful playground conveniently located near the entrance of the park. Key features include a large wooden climbing wall, a maze, climbing forts, and range of slides. There’s a Liberty Swing for wheelchair users, plus signage boards instructing children on some basic Auslan (Australian sign language) communications.

Need to know - Logan Gardens has plenty of off-street parking plus modern, wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities. It’s open 24 hours, making it suitable for breakfast, lunch or dinner gatherings.
