Queensland Cheer Elite

Brisbane

Queensland Cheer Elite, one of the most awarded cheerleading programs in Australia, offers cheerleading classes for ages 4 to adult – from competitive and semi-competitive to recreational classes.

Cheerleading, one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, is a great combination of all things athletic – lifting, jumping and tumbling - mixed with music, costumes and dance. It’s fun, team-oriented and offers loads of variety. With classes at Kedron and Sumner Park, QCE offers a level, age group and location to suit everyone.

Forget the pom poms, this dynamic, challenging sport encourages girls and young women to believe in the strength and power of their own bodies. Cheerleading helps to develop confidence, self-esteem and make life-long friends.

Every athlete in a cheer team is important, from the flyers (those being lifted), to the bases (those lifting), to the backspot (catching the flyer). This sport teaches the importance of team work, trust, encouragement and commitment.

Recreational cheer classes are held one per week in a fun and social setting. Students learn a mini routine to perform at the end of each year.

Semi-competitive classes are suited to those looking for competitive cheer experience but with limited availability. Training is only 2 hours per week and competitions are held twice a year.

Competitive cheer is perfect for those with gymnastics, dance or cheer experience, as well as children and adults who are looking for a new challenge which allows them to develop new skills.  Training takes place from 3-4 hours per week with competitions held throughout the year.
