What's Reopening for In-House Dining

With the first stage of COVID-19 restrictions being lifted in Queensland from midnight on May 15th, some of Brisbane's fave restaurants, bars and cafes will reopen for in-house dining for the first time in 8 weeks on Saturday 16th.

Note that only 10 patrons are allowed inside at the one time (with social distancing in place) and by reservation only (no walk-ins). Bars/pubs can only serve drinks with food.

Starting on Saturday 16th, NOTA will offer 2 dinner sittings, from 6-8pm and from 8.15pm until late (Thu-Sat). Meantime they will still be opening as a patisserie/coffee/cheese shop for takeaway Fri-Sun from 7am-11am
The popular Paddo eatery/bar in the 19th century bakery will be re-opening from Saturday 16th for in-house dining (drinks can only be ordered with food) - check their FB page for updates
From Saturday May 16th, City Winery are hosting Fireside Dining, a unique chef X sommelier lead dining experience held on Friday and Saturday nights, limited to two dinner sittings of 10 people each
The Highgate Hill bar/pizzeria will re-open Saturday May 16th for in-house dining again for 10 customers, serving its iconic pizzas with a pint of craft beer or two

The waterfront Scarborough restaurant is reopening both of its dining areas with 1.5 hrs sitting time for up to 10 people. Lunch at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm and dinner 5pm, 6.30pm & 8pm
The longtime Stones Corner bar eatery is opening from 11am-10pm on Saturday & Sunday, with plenty of space from the beer garden to front bar area to ensure social distancing. Bookings essential
Hamilton's cool cafe and bar reopens from Saturday the 16th for dine-in (for max of 10 people at a time) and will be open ongoing for evenings after that. Bookings are essential & bar drinks can only be ordered with food
Kangaroo Point's African-fusion restaurant is re-opening this weekend for in-house dining, restricted to 10 customers at a time. Bookings are essential
You'll be able to have breakfast out this Saturday morning at this Ashgrove cafe/bar with one hour bookings for up to 10 people being taken from 7am. Takeaway is still available, too
Cafe in the Mountains at Mt Nebo is a rustic mountain top cafe in a peaceful setting overlooking tranquil valleys
The Carseldine waffle and pancake parlour is open from Saturday morning for in-house dining, serving all day breakfast for up to 10 customers at a time with bookings essential
The underground CBD bar will be opening Wednesday to Saturday (starting May 16th) for bookings of up to 10 people for 1.5 hour dine-in sessions of wine, cheese and charcuterie, with booking essential (no walk-ins)
