Sunday Lunch Revival
Once upon a time Sunday lunch in Brisbane was a societal institution – a weekend family affair which involved sitting down at home to a roast with all the trimmings preceded by hours slaving in the kitchen and a visit to church.
While nobody (particularly the women) misses the hard labour involved, something was lost when this tradition was passed up. For Sunday lunch was also about taking time out together to eat, share and connect for a few hours before the next week of work began.
