Brisbane Festival is set to return in September with an uplifting program featuring 490 performances across 91 events -  73 of which are free.

From September 4 to 26, the Festival will bring the delightful and the unexpected to Brisbane, reaching all 190 suburbs of the city, with a line-up unlike any presented before; including giant outdoor installations, intimate street concerts, suburban symphonies and an epic new light and laser spectacular.

Leviathan Sep 4-12, Playhouse, QPAC
Circa’s ensemble is joined by a cast of Brisbane-based acrobats and dancers in this all-ages, physically stunning show. Exploring the massive and unpredictable energies that are unleashed in a civilisation careening toward an unknown fate, Leviathan offers hope in these complex times

The Lost Lending Library Sep 19-26, Brisbane Powerhouse                                                                                                                This must-see show for children aged 4-12 and their caregivers is a magical world, a celebration of books and the fascinating journeys they take us on.
