Best Outdoor Summer Dining

at Sanctuary Cove

Sanctuary Cove is the place to be in summer, with its many fantastic waterfront dining options, from breakfast through to dinner.

Here you can relax, soak up the summer vibes and enjoy a delicious meal alongside the blue, glistening water and watch as the boats and yachts dock into The Marina.

Summer Brunch Spots

Start your day in a quintessentially Gold Coast way with with an icy cold acai bowl. The bowls at both Pier B and Quay Street Cafes are jam packed full of fresh fruit, muesli and refreshing goodness, with an added dollop of peanut butter for extra creaminess and indulgence.

If you prefer to start your day with a waterside hot breakfast, Anchor Buoy features classics like big breakfasts and smashed avos, as well as the highly recommended House Smoked Salmon, with salmon hash cake, asparagus, free range poached eggs and hollandaise.

Long, Sunny Lunches

Check out Cove Tavern’s new bistro menu this summer, ideal for long, casual lunches by The Marina. It's hard to go past the Crumbed Halloumi Salad with squid, dukkha and honey mustard dressing, perfectly paried with a crisp white wine and good company, for a guaranteed relaxing afternoon. Cove Tavern is also family friendly, with a fun kids menu and space for the little ones to play.

Balmy, Romantic Dinner Dates

Everyone knows seafood is an essential element of a romantic dinner date, especially when enjoyed on the waterfront. For a special occasion or fine dining experience, Artichoke Restaurant and Bar ticks all of the boxes. Their menu fuses modern Australian, Indian, French, Italian and Asian flavours to create dishes that are full of flavour, while their six course degustation includes seafood delicacies like Mooloolaba tuna, white scallop, king prawn and sand crab.

Dragon Cove Chinese Restaurant is another fantastic option, with a selection of live seafood from all over Australia- Tasmanian lobster, Cairns coral trout, Western Australian abalone, Queensland mud crab and Tasmanian king crab. You can choose your live seafood and have it cooked as you like it, with a range of delicious sauces and condiments to accompany it.

For a more casual dining experience, George’s Paragon is an iconic Queensland seafood destination. Their extensive menu features seafood, every which way...hot, cold, grilled, barbecued, there’s something for everyone. If you can’t decide, a set menu is a great way to try a little bit of everything. Recommended is the Mykonos three-course menu, including garlic bread, greek salad, calamari or prawns, the fish of the day and a dessert.

With so many ways to enjoy the best of summer dining on the water, all you need to do is make a booking.
