Le Bon Bar

Woolloongabba

Le Bon Bar is an ambient French bistro spread over three levels with five charming dining spaces, housed in a character-filled, Federation-era shop on Stanley Street in Woolloongabba.

Le Bon Bar, Woolloongabba

A sibling for Brisbane's favourite French restaurant, C'est Bon, the multi-level, heritage-listed building boasts indoor dining in a cosy space featuring exposed brickwork and polished floorboards; open air dining on the footpath and garden terrace La Terasse; plus a rooftop bar and a wine cellar which are perfect for private parties.

Le Bon is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Breakfast fare, served until 2pm, ranges from freshly baked croissants and  croquettes, to ricotta and blackberry beignets, and brioche French toast with whipped sweet ricotta, seasonal fruit and vanilla ice-cream; best accompanied with a cup of Le Bon's customised coffee roasted locally by Semi-Pro Coffee.

The lunch menu, commencing at 11:30am, changes daily with a focus on fresh, seasonal, local produce. As the sun sets, patrons can indulge in dishes designed to be shared such as escargots, baby scallops, and Brisbane Valley quail; as well as seasonal specials and charcuterie selections. Pair with a glass of boutique French wine from Le Bon's extensive wine list or try one their delectable cocktails like a French Kiss - champagne, cherry syrup, and fresh strawberry juice.

The stunning cellar features terracotta and cork lampshades with a cork wall on one side, while the other side is lined with hard-to-find bottles of wine and magnums of champagne. Le Bon plans to host wine and food evenings in this ambient space, which is also available for intimate gatherings.

Likewise, The Rooftop Lounge with 360-degree views over Woolloongabba, is available for special occasions and private events.
