Eclectea

Brighton

Eclectea Wine Bar in Brighton is worth a detour if anywhere in the Sandgate region or as a whistle stop on the tourist route to Redcliffe.

Nestled in a tiny pocket of 1960s shops, Eclectea occupies the old post office general store on the corner, with two rooms festooned with collectibles and retro decor (some for purchase).

The main dining lounge has plenty of space to spread out – nestle in to the window lounge sets, gather at the formica dining tables or catch a bay breeze under the awnings at the quaint mish mash of outdoor vintage tables and chairs. It's a great place for dog owners to come and enjoy dinner and a drink, with a dedicated water bowl and tie-up spot outside.
