The Latin Shack is a colourful, rustic drive-thru and cafe nestled in an idyllic spot with a view over the Samford Valley.
The quirky cafe has garden seating under umbrellas, with stunning views of the rolling green hills around.
Along with a Latin-flavoured all day menu, the breakfast menu offers a range of light classic dishes like avo on toast, Brekkie Burger, Brekkie wraps, ham and cheese croissant or banana bread.
The rest of the menu features Latin staples like enchiladas (brekkie, spicy chicken or Mexican beef), empanadas (beef or veggie), tacos (fish, chilli or veggie) and nachos. There's also a beef chipotle burger served with rustic chips and a small selection of pizzas, including the Latin Shack, topped with house made chilli con carne, beans, capsicum, onion and sour cream.
The extensive range of drinks available at The Latin Shack includes refreshing fruit frappes; super smoothies; milkshakes; coffee, chocolate or chai frappes; Mexican soft drinks; coffee, tea and hot chocolate; and alcoholic drinks including beer, a small selection of wine by the glass or bottle; sangria and Latin cocktails (margarita, mojiro or pina colada).
There's also freshly baked treats and desserts on offer, such as churros, apple pie, cheesecake, chocolate mud cake, red velvet cake, scones, brownies and friands.
Need to know - There is plenty of parking available just off Mt Glorious Rd.
