Victoria Park Bistro
Victoria Park Bistro sits perched atop a hill with sweeping views of the golf courses rolling greens and Brisbane's city skyline.
Situated just 2km for the Brisbane CBD and open 7 days, Victoria Park is a hub of dining and activities options for the entire family and the Victoria Park Bistro offers diners a wide selection of food choices, with something to please every taste.
New to the Victoria Park stable of fantastic food offerings will be the Rotisserie Kitchen, beautifully set up with its own dedicated cooking space right beside the already popular Pizza Kitchen. Serving mouth-watering roasted meats - such as family-style roast chicken, and succulent porchetta - with sides of roast potatoes and seasonal salads, the Rotisserie Kitchen affords diners the comforts of delicious family-style meals in a stunning relaxed environment, perfect after a busy day exploring the many Victoria Park activities on offer.
The Victoria Park Bistro is a spacious dining pavilion with in-house pizza kitchen, overlooking the excellent on-site facilities including a children's playground, Putt Putt course, Driving Range and Golf Course to the north.
Whilst the set-up may look casual and laidback (making it ideal for families or those who’ve just worked up a sweat on the golf or mini-golf course), the menu is snappy and flavoursome, with some real stand-outs. And if you noticed the sizable kitchen garden on the way in, that’s where all of the herbs, chillis etc are freshly picked from.
A hot favourite with punters are the delectable pizzas topped with local seasonal produce, crafted by 2 renowned pizzaiolos (dedicated Italian pizza chefs) and wood-fired in the traditional pizza oven 7 days a week. Meanwhile, the a la carte lunch menu features the usual suspects - burgers, fish and chips and a range of pizzas (Peperoni, Mushroom, Margherita, Prosciutto or Pumpkin) - along with more gourmet dishes like Citrus Spiced Grilled Duck Salad, Market Fish with mixed greens, Grilled Spiced Lamb Skewer with delicious flat bread or the vegetarian friendly Pumpkin and Almond Crespelle with asparagus, crisp sage, brown butter and parmesan.

The flat bread, which is a bit of a star on the menu, also comes as a starter with a generous dollop of the house garlicky aioli. If you’re after a really hearty meal, try the twice cooked beef short rib with “mac and cheese” or the succulent herb roasted chicken with soft polenta chicken (yum!).
And when it comes to desserts, don’t go past the melt-in-the-mouth Belgian Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Fondant with salted caramel sauce and buttermilk ice-cream, which alone warrants a visit. Also delicious is the Leatherwood Honey Parfait with Citrus Compote and almond crumble ice-cream.
Being a child-friendly venue, kids are well catered for with their own menu, which includes Steak Slider with tomato relish, aioli and chips, Fish and Chips, Ham and Cheese Pizza and Crumbed Chicken with a simple salad, chips and sauce.
On the drinks menu as well as the range of coffees (including liqueur), smoothies, T2 teas, milkshakes, cold press juices, and organic soft drinks, you’ll find Signature Cocktails such as the Victoria Park Dark and Stormy (Captain Morgan spiced rum, Absolut vanilla vodka, apple juice, lime and mint) or Limoncello Cooler (Italian limoncello, Bombay gin, mint, lime and soda) or Cocktail Jugs including Grown-Up’s Sangria, Absolute Punch (feat. Peach vodka and berry acai) or Pimms. Beer drinkers will find some interesting beers here, with Boutique Bottled Beers that include Beez Neez Honey Beer, Pirate Life Pale Ale and Young Harrys Natural Lager. There's also a range of International beers by the bottle that include Miller Chill (USA), Asahi, Corona and Heineken as well as bottled cider and ginger beer. There's also a decent selection of Aussie (and the odd Italian) wines and bubbles by the glass or bottle from Victoria, France, Tasmania and Italy, including bottles of Veuve Clicquot.
