Boo’s Kitchen

Woolloongabba

Boo’s Kitchen is bringing fresh flavours from Northern Thailand, alongside some classic Western favourites in their Woolloongabba based kitchen.

The family-owned business is located across the road from the Mater Hospital, in their open dining space that has seating indoors, as well as plenty of tables outdoors. The relaxed atmosphere provides a tranquil space away from the hustle and bustle outside.

The epic menu offers an abundance of small, medium and large morsels, all with a Northern Thai and/ or Asian influence. It’s recommended that you share a few dishes between a group. Their Papaya Salad Platter is the owner’s favourite share plate, laden with all sorts of meats and salads.

Typically in Northern Thailand, salads are eaten as meal accompaniments, and there’s many to choose from in Boo’s Kitchen. The Laos Minced Pork Salad (Laab) is a delicious choice.

Love an Asian soup? Slurp on the Isan Spicy Soup with free range chicken (Om), it’s got just the right amount of spice and Asian flavours such as lemongrass.

Another one of the owners favourite dishes is the Isan Style Salmon Custard (Hor Mok/ Mok Bar). This experimental dish is a delicious concoction of steamed curried salmon – a Boo’s Kitchen specialty thanks to the owner’s love for seafood.

Need to know – Onsite customer parking is available. Takeaway is available.

Nice to know – Boo’s Kitchen also serves breakfast, lunch and coffee. The venue is licensed, serving wine, beer and even traditional Thai iced tea.
