Martha Street Kitchen closed permanently in 2020.
Martha Street Kitchen is a neighbourhood pizzeria nestled in the middle of Camp Hill’s popular Martha St café precinct, serving top-notch pizza and pasta at night and breakfast on weekends.
Martha Street Kitchen is casual with a modern, industrial fit-out. The spiffy space features plenty of timber from the floorboards to the tables and bench seating.
Open from 5pm six nights a week*, customers can sit in the relaxed surrounds sipping wine and sharing small plates of olives, fries with horseradish aioli, calamari or meatballs with fennel and parmesan cream.
Pizzas range from traditional toppings like Margarita (tomato, bocconcini and basil) and Hawaiian (smoked ham, pineapple and double cheese) to less traditional such as prosciutto with bocconcini, fig, rocket and sticky grape glaze or beef brisket, smoked tomato, chorizo, corn and roast onion.
Pasta dishes include gnocchi with cauliflower, fried artichoke and truffle, penne with sausage, mushroom and fennel ragu, and linguine with mussels, sobrasada, garlic confit cream and chilli. Or try the risotto with butternut squash, honey, sage and gorgonzola.
Open Saturday and Sunday for breakfast, the concise but well thought out menu includes smashed avocado with poached egg, tomato tartar and feta on ciabatta, waffles with ricotta, honey and fig gelato, toffee sauce and crispy apple, and the highly recommended breakfast pizza with streaky bacon, fried eggs, house made tomato sauce and chives.
Coffee on pour is Sunday’s Coffee, roasted on the Sunshine Coast by coffee guru Josh Russell (formerly Supreme).
