Joah Korean & Japanese Cuisine

Bulimba

Joah Korean and Japanese Cuisine is a cute, little Asian eatery in Bulimba dishing up top-notch fare from Korea and Japan.

Perched on the corner of Oxford and Riddell Streets at The Avro, Joah has a funky fit-out with graffiti food filling the walls, and plenty of seating inside and out.

The menu combines the best of both countries, Korea and Japan. Entrees include vegetable spring rolls, gyoza (pork, prawn, chicken or vegie), okonomiyaki, karaage chicken and kimchi fries.

Main meals consist of bento boxes (served with rice, salad and miso soup) with your choice of teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon, spicy pork and pork katsu curry, as well as donburi hot stone bowls of bibimbap, bulgogi, eel or teriyaki tofu, and noodle dishes such as yakisoba pan-fried noodles with chicken and vegetables.

Joah’s signature dishes made to share range from sweet and sour pork and chilli garlic chicken to chargrilled pork belly and galbi (marinated spare ribs).

Otherwise, there’s fresh sushi, sashimi and poke bowls.
