Experience one of Brisbane's most beautiful high teas in the 19th century French-inspired oasis that is The Matriarch  at Newstead. 

Here, on bespoke furniture under soaring ceilings and centrepiece olive tree, diners can enjoy an exquisite selection of sweet and savoury morsels, served along with exotic teas and delectable cocktails.

Guests can indulge in a delicious High Tea, Gin & Tea or Mini Cocktails & Tea, all of which feature freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, and an array of scrumptious sweet and savoury treats.

Savouries include finger sandwiches, ham and cheese croissants, and smoked salmon tartlets, while sweet tooths will be satiated with the likes of macaroons, almondines, caramel and cinnamon financiers, triple chocolate squares, and raspberry cheesecake.

Need to know - High Teas start at $45 per person and are available from 11:30am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday. Bookings are essential, with 24 hours notice required.
