South Brisbane

Holed up in a little nook and spilling out onto the pavement and nearby lane is this funky Nana coffee lounge, which stands out like something of a vintage mirage opposite the Paul’s milk factory.

The coffee is expertly brewed guilt-free Aromas (being fair trade organic), and it can be accompanied by toast and jam or a muffin. But the lure and charm here lies with the furniture and décor, straight out of a great aunt’s parlour and onto the street and the open ports of vintage garments awaiting a rummage alongside.

Then inside there are baubles bangles and beads for sale, hula dolls on shelves and parlour games such as Yahtzee to play if time is no object.
