Rock Cafe Bar

Few of the many who walk past Waterfront Place every day would be aware of this striking cafe that occupies half of the foyer.

While it has an air of the hotel lobby or airport departure lounge about it - sleek polished granite floors, ceiling to floor glass windows and clumps of leather couches and armchairs occupied by suits – the soaring cathedral height ceilings and jungle of trees outside the windows make it a refreshing retreat from the city life outside, while the grand piano inside the waterfall adds a touch of je ne sais quoi.

Food wise, the Rock is run by a group of caterers who also cater corporate events so there’s nothing surprising - largely a quality assortment of fresh salads, sandwiches, rolls and muffins and their own blend of Aromas coffee.
