The Soul Pantry
Stafford
The Soul Pantry is a beautiful one stop oasis for anyone interested in cheese, flowers or gardening, perched idylically on the edge of Grange Forest Park.
The taxi depot turned garden centre is essentially a treasure house filled with mossy terrariums, stunning succulents and all manner of elegant kokedama.

Within the warehouse, there are a number of re-purposed shipping containers - one operates as a cool cafe opening onto a verandah with views across the neighbouring bushland. They serve Two Seasons coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks as well as delicious sweet and savory treats from local patisserie, Jocelyn's Provisions.

The other shipping container is fondly known as The Cheeseboard - a place that every cheese aficionado must visit. Each cheese at The Cheeseboard has been carefully sourced from the best Australian cheese artisans, including local South East Queensland producers Frolicking Goat, Bunya Cheese, and Little White Goat.

In The Soul Pantry's gift shop there are a great many items of beauty including vegetable dyed carpets, and hand woven hammocks, as well as plenty of verdant ferns hanging about the place.

Be sure to bring the kids along to enjoy the mini tent, floral coloring-in sheets, or some imaginative play in the boat which sits in the outdoor "backyard".

In a nutshell - Go to the venue for morning tea, fresh flowers, cheese and a healthy dose of gardening inspiration.
Nice to know: Regular gardening themed and cheese appreciation workshops are held at The Soul Pantry (bookings essential - 3352 7777).
