Ya Ya Bar
YA YA BAR HAS CLOSED.
Samford's tiny retro Ya Ya Bar may be joined at the hip with its sibling espresso bar but it is a shining star in its own right, serving mind-blowing tapas, light meals and cool drinks to those lucky enough to happen to come across it.
And if anywhere in the vicinity this is one of those hidden treasures that should be tracked down because here is food that you don't come across every day let alone in a groovy wall-papered nook in a tiny country village.
On the menu are delicious bar bites and share plates such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chicken wings and satay as well as tyhe more substantial such as pastas . Drinks-wise, all of the old faves are dragged out and spruced up here – tequila, daiquiris, vodka martinis and the Sunday session sangria.
Mostly a cool soundtrack accompanies but every now and then a pop-up jam session with local musos cranks things up a few notches.
