5 Dogs

A little slice of America has arrived in Loganlea with the opening of 5 Dogs, serving hot dogs, hamburgers and hot rolls including vegan ones.

Found just off the Logan Motorway, 5 Dogs boasts a funky fit-out with graffitied walls and neon lime stools.

The menu features all your favourite American food from hotdogs and burgers to Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. There's traditional dogs with fried onion and grated cheese, German bratwurst and NYC kransky served with sauerkraut, and spicy chili dogs - smoked chili brat topped with house-made chili, diced onion and melted cheese.

Burgers include the 5 Dogs beef burger with double cheese, Kraut burger (beef patty, cheese, fried bacon, kraut, fried onion and curry ketcup), and a vegan cheese burger - chickpea patty with vegan cheese; while hot rolls range from classic beef and gravy, to bacon and cheese, and not-for-the faint-hearted Hot Mama - chicken or beef topped with German ketchup (curry sauce), bacon, hot sauce and jalapenos

Add a side of crispy onion rings, chilli cheese fries or Aussie poutine, also available with vegan cheese.

In addition, 5 Dogs offers all day breakfast with their Brekky Brat (smoked brat with double cheese and double bacon) or build your own breaky roll.

Open til late seven days a week, 5 Dogs is licensed with a small selection of beer on offer
