Little Black Pug Cafe

Mt Gravatt

Little Black Pug is a cute, all day brunch café with a top-notch menu for foodies and their four-legged friends, found on Logan Road in Mt Gravatt.

Replacing Slack’s Track, new owners Louise and Josh Daly have renamed the café in honour of their little black pugs Bowie and Mate. An adorable picture of the pugs adorns the back wall of this minimalist café with an industrial edge – think concrete flooring, brick walls and stainless steel counter.

The mouth-watering menu includes something for everyone even pooches, such as sweet potato, liver or beetroot treats, meatballs and doggy ice cream.

Human fare ranges from wholesome smoothie bowls and The Millennial (smashed avocado on sourdough with hazelnut dukkah and lemon oil) to Nacho Imposter (crispy corn fritters with sour cream and guacamole) and the delicious Excuse for Dessert - caramelised apple, fresh apple, house made cinnamon oat granola, frozen vanilla yoghurt and vanilla yoghurt panna cotta.

Toby’s Estate coffee is on pour and is the perfect accompaniment to Christian Jacques’ almond or chocolate croissants.

Besides coffee, there’s tea, dirty chai, milkshakes and smoothies like mango, coconut and lime or strawberry, apple and watermelon.
