The Pick Up Joint is not your average cafe - it's a working kitchen/bakery/coffee haunt housed in an historic building in Spring Hill offering filter coffee, fresh baked treats and dog meals.
Owners Amy and Anna, who forged their friendship at South Brisbane’s Wandering Cooks, have combined their passions and created a dog-friendly café where customers are welcome to pour their own coffee, enjoy sweet and savoury treats fresh out of the oven and pick up some human-grade, top-quality dog food.
Amy is a whiz in the kitchen whipping up delicious, gluten friendly baked goods such as spinach and cheese rolls, cranberry white chocolate slice, and super sticky cinnamon buns.
Pour yourself a cup of coffee and milk it as you like with fresh milk, cream and house made toasted almond milk provided in the mini-fridge. Help yourself to a tasty treat and pull up a stool in the friendly, relaxed space.
Need to know - A dog-friendly space has been provided in the laneway beside the building.
Nice to know - Don’t leave without having a chat to Anna about her Suburban Pup human-grade dog food available in flavours like chicken, beef, and turkey – because humans are busy and dogs are awesome.
