If you are in the East Brisbane neighbourhood for coffee and a plate of mouthwatering food, check out Neesh Bar - a charming bar eatery in an historic shop that boasts a delightful atmosphere and excellent menu.
With white panelled walls, bright green chairs, a wooden bar and cheerful piano with plants, this restaurant's decor is relaxed, bright and breezy - the perfect place for your next breakfast or lunch!
The food at Neesh is outstanding - with a wide selection of all-day breakfast and lunch options (lunch is served from 11:30am), you will definitely have a hard time deciding which delicious menu item to choose from. For breakfast, you can order a smaller plate, such as an açai bowl of the day or a pastry, or if you are hungry, a must-try is their créme brûlée french toast (which is worth crossing town for), ratatouille (with free-range eggs, prosciutto, haloumi, green tomato & wasabi relish), avocado on toast, eggs benedict, or a vegan big brekky.
If all day breakfast isn't your thing, they offer some delcious lunch options too, such as a crispy chicken sub (panko crumbed chicken breast, Asian slaw, pickled cucumber and black garlic on sourdough, served with hot chips), or a 'power bowl' (tabouli, brown rice salad, Persian feta, Moroccan butternut pumpkin, sour cream cucumber, dukkah, lemon, and garlic).
Wash it all down with a delicious smoothie, freshly-squeezed juice, coffees, or an extensive range of beers and wines from their in-house bar.
Need to know - Neesh Bar is also open evenings for a casual but delectable share-style dinner, including wood-fired pizzas.
