Besitos is a cosy and ambient restaurant that pops up after dark in the stunning industrial chic surrounds of Bellissimo Coffee, Bulimba from Thursday to Sunday evenings.

Owned by the folks behind Bellissimo, Besitos serves up delicious Mediterranean-flavoured food that is cooked over charcoal and open flame, with a dedicated bar menu to complement the curated wine list and bespoke cocktails.

The menu is designed to share, with a sizeable of selection of creative share plates such as miso corn ribs; emu tartare with cured egg yolk; baccala croquette with lime mayo; Mooloolaba king prawn with secret butter; burnt toothfish taco with yuzu mayo; or cauliflower twice cooked with garlic and herb crumbs.

The small choice of large plates include handmade long casarecce pasta, Canadian scallops, nduja butter & parsley; 100f chargrilled market fish, confit potato, asparagus & smoked tomato or 200g Angus sirloin, pickled shallots, jus & nduja oil.

To drink, there's an impressive wine list featuring mostly Australian wine, with a smattering of NZ, Spanish, French & Italian, a concise cocktail menu including Besitos Martini, Aussie Negroni and Tommy's Margarita, boutique spirits and a small selection of craft beers on tap. 

Need to know -Besitos is open for drinks and snacks or dinner from 5pm Thursday to Sunday. There is on-street parking available on Oxford St and nearby side streets.
