This hidden gem exudes an inner-city cool vibe with rustic decor including a striking stenciled floor, plenty of timber, pops of greenery, and a hand-painted hops mural.
The menu consists of small bites such as fried cheese olives with smoked garlic aioli, schezuan peppercorn squid, and saffron arancini served on a bed of salsa de tomate.
Dishes designed to be shared include Spanish meatballs, mussels in garlic and chilli, chilled local king prawns, gremolata skirt steak, and sweet and sticky pork belly marinated in chilli, anise and caramel.
Otherwise, there's chicken and olive empanadas, Persian taftoon bread served with harissa lamb, pickled chillis, hummus and yoghurt, and a Spanish platter piled with manchego cheese, serrano ham, chorizo, Fuet Anis salami, olives, pickled peppers and sourdough.
As for drinks, there's local craft beer on tap, plus a fridge full of tinnies, a concise wine list including white, red, rosé and bubbly, and boutique spirits such as Four Pillars gin, Twenty Third Street rose vodka, Spey River single malt whisky and several Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits.
