Victoria Park School Holiday Activities
A one-stop school holiday destination that keeps the entire family entertained and active doesn't get much better than Victoria Park, centrally located in Herston and perfect for all ages.
Keen to see a little competitive rivalry amongst the family then Victoria Park's 18-hole mini golf putt putt course is sure to test your skills and get your crew having a ball, regardless of ages. With family fun in mind, adults are charged at kids' prices when playing as a family.
For children aged 4-14 years, Kids Golf Camps are held every Monday to Thursday during the holiday break, and are perfect for the novice or the experienced. Don't have the clubs, golf balls or tees at home? No worries as all equipment is provided for use during the camp. But remember to pack sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle.
On weekends between 10am-4pm, Victoria Park opens the gates to a free outdoor games area, complete with a super-fun jumping castle, bocce and badminton spaces, and, to top it off, a giant genga and a giant chess arena, all suitable for children aged 3-12 years. There's also a slide, a rock climbing wall and dedicated imaginative play spaces for the kids to explore.
The driving range, with stunning views across the Brisbane city skyscape, is a great option for the tweens or teenagers who wish to hone their golfing techniques or just have a bit of fun. Children using the driving range must be accompanied by an adult
All this activity is sure to get you hungry, so take advantage of the food market carts on the weekends, serving Dutch pancakes, fresh lemonade, coffee and burgers. The market carts are perfectly located so that adults can keep an eye on the children as they explore the fantastic playground / games area.
Open 7 days, the Victoria Park Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers al fresco dining and mouth-watering wood-fired pizzas. The bistro is fully licensed.
