The Valley Wine Bar is a boutique bar and bottle shop nestled on the ground floor of the luxury FV apartment building in the heart of Fortitude Valley.
This specialty wine shop and bar is the first venture outside of Melbourne for Mark Hopkinson, Lyndon Kubis and Renton Carlyle-Taylor (who own a string of wine bars in the Southern capital).
Boasting an extensive selection of local and international wines, patrons can sip top-drops from French champagnes and cheeky chardonnays to spicy shirazs and everything in between. Available by the glass or bottle, the cellar shelves are lined from floor to ceiling with white, rose, orange and red wines from around the world.
Sophisticated snacks on hand range from olives and smoked almonds to cheese and charcuterie boards.
For non-wine drinkers, there’s a small selection of tinned, craft beer like Mountain Goat, Green Beacon and Fortitude Brewing, as well as ciders and premium spirits (with a focus on Australian artisan distillers).
