Theatresports Grand Championships 2022

Presented by ImproMafiaBrisbane's longest-running improv comedy competition is back featuring the top comedic improvisers from the Sunshine State as they go head-to-head with the cream of the interstate improv crop in a blitz of quick wits.

Theatresports Grand Championships 2022

For the first time since 2019, Team Queensland will take on out-of-town challengers Team Southerners on the Brisbane Powerhouse main stage. The two teams will battle it out, performing various scenes or “games” which incorporate audience suggestions. If you’ve ever seen an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Or Thank God You’re Here, you’ll have an idea of what it's like.

Theatresports Grand Championships 2022

What better way to wrap up your Brisbane Comedy Festival experience than with this comedic battle royale in which there is no script - only the spontaneous, free-wheeling brilliance of experienced performers.

Theatresports Grand Championships 2022

Don't miss this hilarious night of off the cuff comedy, songs, sketches and wit-fuelled games to see who will emerge as the 2022 Theatresports Grand Champions.
