Sydney Writers’ Festival Live & Local will see the world's best authors livestreamed direct from Sydney to State Library of Queensland on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.

The State Library is the only place in Brisbane where you can take part in this fantastic, free event. Visitors will be engaged by conversations, debates and discussions, and can participate in live Q&A sessions, sending questions direct to the Sydney stage.  

Nice to know - Live & Local kicks off a month-long series of Talking Ideas events with some of the world's most celebrated authors, including Andrew Sean Greer, Akala, Anna Rosling and Kári Gíslason.

Need to know - Drop in each day from 10am-5pm. No bookings are required.
