The QUBE Effect 2021

Celebrate the launch of Brisbane Youth week with the latest music from our city's emerging artists when The QUBE Effect takes over Fortitude Valley's Brunswick Street Mall on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

This free, annual event showcases the incredible talent of some of Brisbane's freshest musicians, singers, songwriters and bands. 

Each year Brisbane City Council works with emerging, creative musical acts as part of an intensive development program, giving them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be mentored by some of the music industry's most influential experts.

Participants create their own music video and take part in workshops and promotional opportunities, including a special live performance as part of Brisbane Youth Week.

This year's live event offers a smorgasbord of musical styles from indie-rock and R&B, hip-hop and rap, electro-funk and folk, to floaty jazz and heavy metal. Don't miss it!

Nice to know - The QUBE Effect alumni have gone on to play at festivals such as Brisbane Festival’s Street Serenades, Valley Fiesta, Splendour in the Grass and many more.
