Perfect World

The Basement by Theatreroo
THIS EVENT IS NOW IN THE PAST. FOR MORE GREAT THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN AND AROUND BRISBANE, PLEASE HEAD TO OUR WHAT'S ON PAGE HERE

Theatreroo’s latest production Perfect World puts its own unique spin on topical issues of the first two decades of the 21st century, playing at The Basement, Bowen Hills on Saturday May 28, June 11 & 18, 2022.

With great songs, thought-provoking drama and an amazing cast, this show is bound to make you laugh, sing, and be moved - to anger and to tears at the world situation.

You'll meet a crusading teenage activist and a burnt-out disillusioned soldier, along with an array of world leaders - the ones who got us into the mess we're in.

Perfect World, Theatreroo

Perfect World is written by Clarry Evans and Denny Lawrence, who were responsible for last year's year’s highly-successful 5-month season Baby Boomer.

The stellar cast includes Sandro Colarelli and Matt Newnham, with Matt Young (who starred in The Producers) and winner of the Bille Brown Emerging Talent Award, Carly Quinn, and features a brand new talent and recent QUT graduate Tegan Braithwaite, plus a 4-piece orchestra led by resident musical director Sante d’Ettore. Directed by Denny Lawrence (The Bill, A Country Practice, MDA).

Enjoy the full Theatreroo experience and see Perfect World as well as one of their Live Music Sessions in one night!
