Lifeline Bookfest

The much-loved Lifeline Bookfest returns to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for 9 massive days, from January 13-21, with plenty of pre-loved books to explore, plus Lifeline's very own Comic-fest!

Queensland's largest, second-hand book sale will boast more than 1 million books, starting as low as $2.50, with an abundance of great reads across all genres, including cooking, health and fitness, gardening, history, biography, children’s books, and much more.

This Bookfest will also include a new look Comic-fest section where you'll find over 10,000 comics, manga, graphic novels, memorabilia, and many other collectable items for fans to explore. Lifeline encourages customers to get into the spirit of Comic-fest and dress up as their favourite character. 

This Bookfest will run across 9 days, so don't miss the chance to stock up on a year of great reads for 2024 at one of the biggest book events in the Southern Hemisphere.

Nice to know - Bookfest is Lifeline Queensland’s biggest fundraising event of the year with profits made going to directly support the critical work of the 24/7 crisis support line.

Need to know - Lifeline will have $1 bags available for purchase, or people can bring their own.
