Jamie's Espresso Bar

Fortitude Valley

Doing a constant trade next to one of the better stencil & graffiti art walls in the Valley, Jamie’s Espresso was practically the father of good coffee in the James St precinct.

The furniture and décor is barebones, the offerings other than coffee scarce, the niceties kept to a minimum, which leaves nothing for it but to nab a stool in the slatted pavilion and down a caffeine shot or two...

Until night when it switches to a wine and beer bar, with a brilliant little selection of boutique Australian wines and micro beers with tasty nibbles – olives, smoked trout and nuts - to accompany.
