Ironbark Superfoods

Danish mother and daughter team, Joan and Stina run Ironbark Superfoods, a family owned business which is tucked up one of Samford's side streets, away from the noise of the busy shopping strip.

Located across the road from green parkland, Ironbark Superfoods is a popular "go to" spot for one hundred percent organic and healthy food.

These two women are passionate about healthy eating, serving up gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free, sugar free and raw food options that are presented beautifully and taste as good as they look. Only produce that is in season locally is used and all dishes are prepared on site.

Certified organic, activated almond milk is also made by Joan and Stina. Biodynamic full cream milk, skim milk, butter, cheese and eggs come from family owned Mungalli Creek Dairy, situated in the rolling hills of the southern Atherton Tablelands. This award winning dairy uses organic/biodynamic natural farming methods.

The display cabinet at Ironbark Superfoods showcases amazing salads, vegetable patties (a firm favourite with customers), raw cheesecake, slices, muffins and more. The business specializes in slow cold pressed juices and smoothies and whilst these contain superfoods naturally, customers have the option of adding vitamins and proteins for an extra healthy sip.
