Holy Moly
Spring Hill
HOLY MOLY ESPRESSO HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Holy Moly injects a shot of life into a forgotten patch of Spring Hill where s this little gem of a foodie's cafe is located. Here attention to detail rules, from the gleaming black tiled façade and street planter boxes outside, the religious stencil art, row of chairs on coat hook and pot plants inside to the meticulously crafted menu with all items cooked, smoked, baked and prepared in-house.
A blackboard menu has a delicious array of breakfast and lunch options while freshly baked treats sit at the counter. Breakfast faves, served until 11.30, include the likes of jaffles, pancakes, bacon and egg toasties, Eggs Benedict and banana bread, while lunch choices include a delcious steak sandwich.
Coffee is well made Genovese and both milk and soy milk are organic and service is on par with everything else. And if anything about this fabulous café feels familiar it's because it is the sibling of East Brisbane's much loved Foxy Bean.
