This weekend you have a rare opportunity to step back in time and take a free nostalgic ride on a vintage Brisbane City Council bus around Brisbane's CBD.
On Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10, the Queensland Omnibus and Coach Society will be operating several former Brisbane City Council buses, dating back to 1948, on the ‘City Loop’ routes 40 and 50 between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
Each loop will take approximately 15 minutes and will start and end at King George Square outside City Hall as follows:
1. Clockwise loop (route 40) will depart from Stop 21 in Adelaide Street.
2. Counterclockwise loop (route 50) will depart from Stop 10 in Ann Street.
Need to know - This is a FREE service that will pick up and drop off at the existing PURPLE City Loop bus stops in the CBD.
