Hampton Festival is a highlight on Southern Queensland Country's event calendar showcasing the region’s best produce, restaurants, wineries, art and music.
Set in the picturesque high-country village of Hampton (just 32 km north of Toowoomba), the Hampton Festival is a food and cultural extravaganza held over 3 days from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19.
This family-friendly festival offers a jam-packed program of authentic country experiences from hands-on food and art workshops to regional farm tours and Tastes of the Region local produce events. Visitors can learn more about the region’s history and heritage at the Historic Homestead progressive dinner.
The highlight of the weekend is Festival Sunday, with a wide range of activities for all to enjoy including celebrity chef demonstrations, interactive art sessions, children's food and art activities, and the annual Hampton Art Exhibition.
Pick up some gourmet ingredients from the marketplace, watch artists in residence create masterpieces or simply relax beneath the majestic blue gums and enjoy live music while sampling superb, food, wine and craft beer from one of region's restaurants, wineries and micro-breweries.
