Brisbane's first Drive-in Concert, headlined by Russell Morris, is coming to Cleveland Showgrounds in Redland City on Saturday 13th.
Since the advent of COVID-19, drive-in concerts have become a thing in Europe and this one, the first one to be held in Queensland, is no doubt the first of many here too.
Russell Morris will be joined by The Soul Movers and Masters of Pop, for the live concert, which is just like a drive-in movie theatre, with patrons required to stay in the car and tune in to the special FM frequency as the show is projected on to the giant screen.
Tickets are prepaid and upon entry patrons are shown to their car spot and, once there, you can order snacks via the website online, and they will be delivered to your car.
Nice to know - Behind the Drive-In Concert is Michael 'China' Walker from John Paul Young's Allstar Band, together with Nick Chugg (son of Michael Chugg), Redland City Council and music industry lawyer Matt McCormick.
