Unwrap Joy at Brisbane Quarter

Unwrap joy at Brisbane Quarter this Christmas with a calendar of wonder-filled events from December 14-18, 2020. Here there'll be an amazing LED light show, Christmas carols performed by Brisbane Concert Choir, cocktail bar offering cocktails and bar snacks* and a gelato cart dishing up free gelato scoops*. 

Under the Brisbane Quarter Christmas-themed light show (corner George and Adelaide Streets) on Podium 1, the choir will perform daily from 5.30-6.30pm, while from Wednesday to Friday, a Messino Gelato ice-cream cart will be scooping up delicious artisan gelato and a pop-up cocktail bar will be serving festive cocktails and bar snacks. Cocktails will alternate between Christmas "Frost Berry Frose" and "Candy Cane Gin &  Cinnamon Spritzer" while bar snacks will be either cinnamon doughnuts or mini gingerbread men.

After enjoying a bit of festive spirit and activity, head up to one of the fantastic BQ restaurants (Persone, Brisbane Phoenix, Phat Boy, Three Blue Ducks) or to Persone Bar or W Living Room Bar for drinks.

Good to know - Those who come along will have the chance to go into the running for the Christmas in the Quarter competition, with fabulous prizes to be won. Fill out the entry form and pop it into the entry box at Brisbane Quarter (podium 1) to go into the draw to win a 2 night stay at W Brisbane (parking and breakfast for 2 included), 2 x $200 dinner vouchers to BQ restaurants of winners choice (Persone, Phat Boy, Brisbane Phoenix, Tenya Japanese), 1 x $50 gift voucher to the new O'GaBee & Co Coffee Roastery, and $500 gift voucher to Wil Valor.

Need to know - The prize is one prize (not multiple prizes) worth more than $1,500. Entry is available to Brisbane residents only, must be over 18 to enter, and one entry per person. Competition opens on 10 December ends at 5pm on 22 December. Winner will be announced on 23 December.

*Note that there will be a limit of 100 free gelato scoops and 100 free cocktails and bar snacks per day (one serve per person, until stocks last).
