Brisbane Vegan Expo

Brisbane Showgrounds

The Brisbane Vegan Expo, Queensland's biggest vegan event, is coming to the Brisbane Showgrounds on October 19 and 20.

The inaugural event welcomes everyone to attend, from experienced vegans to those who are curious about the benefits of going vegan.

Brisbane Vegan Expo

Thousands of both vegans and vegan-curious are expected at the expo, which will showcase a mind-blowing array of tapas, burgers, pies, hotdogs, jerky, cheeses, cakes, ice cream, chocolates and more, demonstrating how easy it is to transition to a plant-based diet. With a variety of cuisines including dishes from China, India, Bali, France, Persia and Tibet, there'll be plenty of deliciousness to sample too.

There will also be cooking demonstrations and presentations throughout the weekend, providing invaluable advice on how to make the most delicious vegan food at home.

The event will also feature a guest appearance by animal rights activist James Aspey, renowned award-wining chef Alejandro Cancino and dozens of exhibitors showcasing skincare, clothing, bags, cosmetics, health supplements and eco-friendly alternatives.

In a nutshell - Whether going vegan is for health, environmental, ethical or all of the above, there will be something for everyone at this expo.

Nice to know - Food vendors will be staying on until 8pm on Saturday night (non-food vendors are there until 6pm). $2 from every ticket will be donated to a vegan charity.
