Brisbane Night Market Oktoberfest

Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of German food, beer and lederhosen when the Brisbane Night Market Oktoberfest celebration takes over the Brisbane Markets® from 4-10pm on Friday October 18.

Oktoberfest Brisbane Night Market

The licensed bar will be selling German beers by the stein, while Brisbane’s best food trucks and vendors will be serving up delicious German-themed delights such as pork knuckle, pork spit roast, German sausages and pretzels.

If you think you have what it takes to tackle a metre-long sausage, then join in the Oktoberfest competitive eating competition for your chance to win some great prizes. Alternatively, sit back and be equal parts amazed and entertained as the pros do their thing.

The fun doesn’t stop there either, with a stein-carrying competition also featuring, as well as plate spinning, and a Punch and Judy puppet show for the kids.

A wandering accordion player will provide musical accompaniment as you sit back and feast on the scrumptious food, while dancing is very much encouraged (and extremely hard to resist) when the Dave Orr Band take to the Main Stage with a rocking blues set from 7pm.

Need to know: Entry costs $2.50 per person (under 15s are free) and there’s hundreds of free parking spaces available on site.
