Bris Funny Fest

Bris Funny Fest, comedy from Brisbane's fringes, is back bigger and better with more comedians, performances and hilarity than ever before from August 7 to September 1. 

This independent volunteer-supported comedy festival returns to Brisbane for a fourth consecutive year with more than 129 comics performing, improvising, debating and podcasting live in 100 shows.  That's 12,000 minutes of jokes to an anticipated audience of over 5,000 comedy lovers. 

This year's  stellar line-up features the most original and creative local and national acts including Brisbane's own Mel Buttle, Blake Freeman (2019 Best Newcomer MICF) and Chris Ryan (2019 Best Newcomer Sydney Comedy Festival); performing in alternative venues like Heya Bar in the Valley, Aether Brewing in Milton, and Paddington Substation.
