Box'd Espresso Bar

Annerley

UPDATED JUNE 2020: This cafe has now closed and been replaced by A Mano Cafe.

Box’d Espresso is the brainchild of boxing brothers Khuram and Kamran Nasir; following on from the success of their Brisbane Boxing clubs.

Box'd Espresso Bar Annerley

Open early seven days a week, this hole-in-the-wall cafe on Cracknell Road in Annerley serves breakfast, lunch and sweet treats alongside excellent Org organic coffee.

Breakfasts for champions include banana, linseed, sunflower and almond bread with butter, cinnamon porridge with vanilla poached pears, yoghurt, toasted seeds and honey and the highly recommended Baghdad spiced eggs with mushrooms, spinach, and chilli jam on Turkish toast.

The all day menu also includes lunch options like toasted Turkish rolls with tasty fillings: poached chicken with apple and cranberry relish and slaw, slow braised lamb with spiced mint yoghurt and slaw and spiced lentils with marinated vegetables, spinach and tomato relish.

For the health conscious there are homemade protein balls and energy bars while those who want to be a little bit naughty can try pistachio lemon syrup cakes or hazelnut, cacao and orange torte.
